Weather    
The tourist season extends almost through out the year. April to July are the summer months which are fairly warm. The rainy season, from August to October is very pleasant, and the winter months, from November to March are the coolest.
Getting Around    
In Aurangabad, an easy way to travel is by auto-rickshaw, but cars on hire and local taxis are also available to travel within the city and to its surrounding areas. To Ajanta and Ellora, there are several MTDC as well as local buses. Organised tours run regularly between Aurangabad and the Ajanta/Ellora Caves. The tour to Ellora includes the Grishneshwar Temple, Daulatabad Fort, Aurangzeb's Tomb at Khuldabad, and the Panchakki and Bibi ka Maqbara in Aurangabad
Tourist Offices    

The Government of India tourist Office is situated on Station Road (West) in Aurangabad city and is open from 8.30am to 6pm weekdays and until 1.30pm on Saturday. The MTDC office in the MTDC Holiday Resort, Station Road (East) is open from 7am to 7pm. Both offices are helpful for tourists and there are information counters at the railway station and airport.
