Ranglaheri

MTDC organizes Art Exhibition - 'Ranglaheri' at Sahyadri School of Art Sawarde Taluka: Chiplun, Dist. Ratnagiri.free of cost
Time 10.00 am to 07.00 pm.
Ranglaheri - An Artists Camp was organized by MTDC at its picturesque Resort at Ganpatipule in Ratnagiri District in March 2007. It was an attempt to bring together renowned artists and painters from different parts of Maharashtra. The camp saw an assembly of various senior artists, young aspirants, art students and school children. They shared their experiences and joined in the unique experiment with style, line and colour.

'Ganpatipule' is a gigantic canvas in itself, with bright sunshine, sand and greenery around believed to be painted beautifully by Lord Ganesha himself. Devine presence was the force of inspirations to all and the greatest creations were captured on the canvas through different mediums and styles.
MTDC is now taking a step ahead in order to promote Maharashtra's rich Art, Culture and Heritage while giving a boost to Tourism in Konkan. MTDC is organizing an exhibition of the painting created at Ranglaheri at Various places in Maharashtra.
Maharashtra State Government has entrusted all commercial and promotional tourism activities to Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation. MTDC has, since its inception, been involved in the development and maintenance of the various tourist locations of Maharashtra. MTDC owns and maintains resorts at all key tourist centers and having more resorts is on the plan. It organizes several festivals in the state to attract tourists form all over the World. MTDC represents Maharashtra at several National and International platforms and forums.
